One of the most interesting activities on Wednesday was the meeting and chance of listening to refugees and immigrants which have newly arrived to Germany and started school and their stories about their journeys to a new country, which made a big impact on all of us. We also got a chance to interview them and put ourselves in their shoes by listening to new languages we hadn’t heard before. This activity raised awareness of the social injustices in our everyday society and the students’ reactions showed that we are willing to work for a better future for everyone.
After this we went climbing and this way we stretched our bodies and our minds. It was a great experience for me, as it was my first time to climb.
In the evening we had a disco where we could relax with music and our new friends. All in all, it was a great day.
