The idea of starting and keeping a school garden had been present before the mobility at our school, but somehow we were unable to put in into practice. So we sent our Biology teacher to the mobility to Duisburg and when the group returned, she was full of enthusiasm and ideas. The students helped her set up a garden with herb at the back of our school and it meant we have been enjoying it for 2 years now. Everybody loves it, especially when herbs from the garden are then used by students in the Chemistry program to make creams and other products to sell at the farmers market in Lendava or at school to collect money for the socially disadvantaged students at our school.
