UNICEF Child Friendly Schools

Our school, IES Monegros, became a UNICEF Child Friendly School more than one year ago. Since then we have organised a few events in order to raise awareness and funds for projects related with solidarity.

Last Saturday Sariñena held a cycling competition in which more than 8000 bikers participated. Our students and their Philosophy teachers designed and built handmade pins to sell them and raise funds for a solidary project that UNICEF is developing in Niger. They sold all the pins in a few hours!
